High Current SMU

Source and Measurement Units (SMUs) are devices that generate voltages or currents and can measure them simultaneously using the integrated measurement units (VMU, CMU). High current SMUs operate as a regulated power source and are able to generate very high output currents as pulses.

• Pulse currents up to 2,400 A at 30 V
• Minimum pulse time 300 µs
• Output power up to 30 kW as DC source

High Voltage SMU

Source and Measurement Units (SMUs) are devices that generate voltages or currents and can measure them simultaneously using the integrated measuring units (VMU, CMU). High-voltage SMUs work as a regulated voltage source and are able to generate very high output voltages.

• Output voltages up to 2.5 kV (<30 mA in pulse mode)
• Resolution current measurement <1 pA
• Adjustable slew rate from 10 V/ms to 1,000 V/ms

Multi-Channel SMU

Source and Measurement Units (SMUs) are devices that generate voltages or currents and can measure them simultaneously using the integrated measurement units (VMU, CMU). Multi-channel SMUs usually have a number of identically structured voltage or current sources.

• Up to 4 potential-free channels, U/I measurement units
• Max. 400 V or 100 A per channel
• Total output max. 800 W (10 kW in pulse mode)

PXI SMU

Source and Measurement Units (SMUs) are devices that generate voltages or currents and can measure them simultaneously using the integrated measurement units (VMU, CMU). PXI Source Measurement Units are implemented as a plug-in card and additionally require a PXI chassis and system controller to work. The devices are usually supplied via the backplane of the PXI chassis.

• 1 channel, potential-free, U/I measurement unit (16 Bit)
• Maximum ±30V | ±2.5 A | 25 W
• 4-quadrant operation, slew rates up to 500 V/ms
• Digitizer and arbitrary waveform generator (Option)
